*Language Warning - Texan on a mission*
In todays podcast Matt, Steve and I interview Master Coach Luke Leaman from muscle Nerds - and what I describe as a holistic master trainer who applies fact-based research into best practice for training, nutrition and performance. Luke lays out what he believes is missing in the industry and how muscle nerds approaches many of the high-level issues facing PTs and their clients today - such as the controversial topic of how best to use cardio to burn fat, maximising performance through training and nutrition that does not believe in a one size fits all approach. We cover a lot of ground on overtraining, getting past a plateau, HITT v Steady state cardio, supplementation as well as testing out Lukes knowledge on some listener FAQs.

Phenomenal job guys. This was the first I had heard of your podcast and I am now subscribed and looking forward to going back through past episodes!! I love both the content and the way it is presented....easy to digest and implement and a solid explanation of the “why” behind things.
- Hi Anthony,
Thank you so much for sharing this feedback with us! We hope you enjoy the rest of the episodes :)

Hey guys, I just wanted to say this was one of my favourite podcasts yet and I hope you collaborate with Luke again. So interesting and knowledgeable. I’m about to embark on some uni studies - bachelor of exercise and sports science to really learn as much as I can to get in to the fitness industry. I didn’t want to take a cookie cutter pt course as I crave the in-depth training and knowledge available. This podcast inspires me to keep learning and exploring as much as I can about health and fitness and everything in between. Grateful as ever for the time you all put in to sharing knowledge and information with us. Thanks Karla
